Our main character is Machio Hiraku, who dies of a serious illness but is given another chance at life by God. God tells him he can make four wishes, and our hero asks for the things he didn’t have in his last life.
In his last life, he was sick, so he never got to see what life was like for a normal, healthy person. A healthy body and a quiet life are blessings for someone who is sick, so he chose to have a quiet life and two more wishes.
One was to be able to speak the language of the place he would be born, and the other was to start a life as a farmer. And to make sure he has a good time in his new life, God gives him an “almighty” tool for farming that will help him in many ways. Please don’t think this is a simple story; there’s a lot more to it than that.
The story has a magical feel to it because we know that the two main female characters aren’t real people. Ru and Tia are not like other people. Ru is the vampire, and the other person is the angel. They have been given powers from beyond this world. So, the things that have to do with farming and agriculture won’t be typical, but they will also involve magic. There will be interesting fantasy elements.
That’s a beautiful story, and the author did a great job of making even the most ordinary things precious and interesting. Even though this is an isekai story, it’s not at all what you’d expect from an isekai!

The Japanese light novel series Farming Life in Another World (Isekai Nonbiri Noka) was written by Kinosuke Naito and illustrated by Yasumo, who also did the illustrations for the light novel Banished from the Hero’s Party. On December 29, 2016, it was published online by the website Shosetsuka ni Naro (Let’s Be Novelists! ), which lets people write and publish their own books. On October 30, 2017, the series was bought by Enterbrain, and Yasumo’s illustrations were added to the books. So far, there have been twelve volumes.
On October 12, 2017, a manga adaptation drawn by Yasuyuki Tsurugi started being released online through Kadokawa’s Comic Walker website.
