Cardi B has never been reluctant to acknowledge her plastic surgery procedures. And despite varying perspectives on her cosmetic treatments, the artist claims that the improvements make her feel her most confident.
“I’m from New York, correct? And New York is a melting pot, especially the Bronx, where I grew up. When I was younger, I was really thin, and in the Bronx, it’s all about being thick and having an ass, so little guys would say, “Look at your flat ass.” You don’t have any t—-is. And that would make me feel so unattractive and immature “Cardi said in an intimate interview with Mariah Carey for Interview’s cover story.
When she was old enough to work at a strip club, Cardi utilized her money to obtain breast implants, which was the first step in overcoming her concerns.
“When I turned 18 and became a dancer, I had enough money to get boobs, so I no longer had any insecurity about my breasts,” she explained. At age 20, though, the enhancement of her butt became her next focus. “I went to an urban strip club when I was 20 years old, and in urban strip clubs, you had to have a large butt. Therefore, I felt uneasy about it. It reminded me of high school. So I did my business.”
The plastic surgery surgeries made the celebrity feel like her best self. “Then I felt really certain. I feel very validated, “Cardi stated.

The “WAP” rapper also disclosed to Carey that she struggled to maintain her hair during her teens and that local males made cruel remarks about her appearance. “I am Trini and Dominican, and there are many Dominicans who have a specific appearance. They have soft, pretty, curly hair. When I was younger, I did not know how to properly maintain my hair. Growing up, guys would ask me weird questions like, ‘If you’re Dominican, why is your hair so nappy?'” Cardi remembered.
She went on: “When I used to color my hair, people would comment, “Your hair is so crunchy!” And that would make me feel so strange.”
The singer of “Always Be My Baby” shared Cardi’s sentiments about her natural hair. “I’ve had similar experiences with my hair. Hair is always an issue “Carey stated.
Now, Cardi prepares her own at-home hair treatments to maintain the health of her natural hair. She remarked, “I prepare my own hair mask and take care of my natural hair, and it makes me feel better as if what others were saying about me was untrue.” “My hair was nappy, so it was not bad. My hair was in poor condition since I did not know how to care for it.”

In a video posted to Instagram last summer, the celebrity demonstrated how to make a hydrating hair mask. She stated that the nourishing treatment consists of avocado, argan oil, mayonnaise, castor oil, olive oil, eggs, honey, and banana.
“I realize that’s a lot of oil, but my daughter’s hair has to be as moisturized as mine,” she remarked before applying it to Kulture, her 212-year-old daughter.
While the rapper did not disclose the quantities of each component in the recipe, she did mention that she uses a tiny quantity of honey so that Kulture’s hair does not feel sticky after applying the mask. Cardi added that she uses “a lot” of black castor oil and a blender to eliminate avocado chunks.
She elaborated: “This therapy is excellent for curly hair. My child has a curl pattern although I do not.”
