How does he come out of all this struggling journey?

Kodo Nishimura is a Buddhist monk who was raised in a Buddhist temple by his priest father, Jodo shu. He has been studying ikebana, the art of arranging flowers, for years as a way to heal himself and hide his dark past.

(As I grew older, I felt that I was no longer “supposed” to do these things because I am biologically male. Children in my vicinity inquired, “Do you have any male friends?” and commented, “You run like a girl.”)

As a Buddhist, while playing with makeup brushes, the homosexual boy lauds his journey of self-discovery. As an advocate for homosexuality, he is now on a mission to liberate people from taboos and encourage them to live their lives as they see fit.

Kodo Nishimura began drawing his inspiration from the Princess Diaries films because he identified with Princess Mia. As he stated about the character, he wished to pursue makeup with complete dedication.
