Wriddhiman Saha has been dropped from the Indian Test squad, with Rishabh Pant being preferred in the future. Rishabh Pant is preferred to replace Wriddhiman Saha, and he is not even considered a backup option. KS Bharat is the Sri Lanka Test series’ second wicket keeper.
Karthik praised regarding Saha’s services to Indian cricket. “Congratulations to Wriddhiman Saha,” Karthik wrote in The ICC Review. “I believe he was one of those excellent, silent servants of Indian cricket who did so well over a long period of time.”
“He is still, by far, one of the top wicketkeepers in the world — I consider him as the best wicketkeeper in the world.” He has fantastic hands, moves well, and is an excellent wicketkeeper. Add to it the fact that he has a couple hundred in international cricket and has played some really critical, meaningful knocks when Team India needed them.”
🗣"I rate him as the best wicketkeeper in the world."
