Afghanistan defeated Bangladesh by seven wickets on Monday at Chattogram’s Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, thanks to Rahmanullah’s superb century. Afghanistan reached the 193-run milestone in 40.1 overs.

Afghan spinners spun a web in the middle overs to disturb Bangladesh’s batting, knocking them out for 192. Gurbaz then made the chase seem easy, finishing with a stroke-filled 106 to put another feather to his incredible new hat.

Gurbaz’s 110-ball 106 not out contained seven fours and four sixes, as well as two key partnerships that aided the team’s chances of winning.

Gurbaz completed his century in 103 balls, slamming speedster Mustafizur Rahman over cover for doubles and then ending with a single from Mehidy to square leg.
