IND vs. SL: India loses their openers early in the game

As India prepares for Virat Kohli’s 100th Test, Rohit Sharma and Mayank Agarwal walk back cheaply.

At the first Test against Sri Lanka, Rohit Sharma and Mayank Agarwal opened for India in Mohali.

Both openers were dismissed early, forcing India to rely on senior legend of the game Virat Kohli or otherwise Hanuma Vihari.

Hanuma came out after Rohit misfired on a pull-shot. The audience chanted “Ek Vihari sab pe Bhari” when a new face took the place of veteran Cheteshwar Pujara, who was benched for this game.

After Mayank Agarwal was ruled out by the umpire, the crowd’s attention was solely on Virat Kohli as he headed out to bat in his 100th Test game.

India has reached 100 runs despite losing its openers.
