The first of three T20Is between India and Sri Lanka will be played at Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium. The venue is one of the country’s newest stadiums. The BCCI is considering staging the India against Sri Lanka T20I series from Lucknow after it won the bid for an IPL franchise.
Because Lucknow is in northern India, it will be a little cooler than the other venues. Both sides’ players will have to counter this. The likelihood of rain interfering with the competition is less than 5%.
