Team India will continue the T20 craze even after the Indian Premier League, as BCCI official confirms that team India will be facing South Africa straight after the IPL.
Rohit and company will be hosting the Proteas after a terrific loss in South Africa, for a 5 match series which will be scheduled for a period of 10 days. After which the Indian team will fly to England to play a single (remaining) Test match, and 6 white-ball games.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has previously announced that the IPL will be hosted in Mumbai and Pune from March 26 to May 29, followed by a Twenty20 series against South Africa around 10 days later. “This is part of the FTP, and it was always planned to be played after the IPL,” a BCCI official explained.
