India’s predicted XI; 4 major changes likely in the absence of Virat

India is standing the chance to record a consecutive clean sweep when they meet West Indies in their final clash on Sunday. The two teams will face each other in the T20I clash at the Eden Gardens.

Virat has been granted a 10-day break from the bio-bubble, permitted to snub the final t20I encounter against West Indies. Indian team has already bagged the series and has fewer things to take care of, apart from testing the bench strength. Amidst the absence of Virat, Shreyas Iyer is most likely to make it to the playing XI while Ishan Kishan could be demoted to bat at number 3. As Rishabh Pant, too, given rest from the bio-bubble, Ishan Kishan is bound to find himself in the playing XI, irrespective of his poor form. Ruturaj Gaikwad, too, will be expected to make a comeback to the playing eleven after debuting against Sri Lanka on 28 July 2021.

Here’s the look at the predictable playing XI

  1. Rohit Sharma (C)
  2. Ruturaj Gaikwad
  3. Ishan Kishan (WK)
  4. Shreyas Iyer
  5. Suryakumar Yadav
  6. Venkatesh Iyer
  7. Deepak Chahar
  8. Avesh Khan
  9. Mohammad Siraj
  10. Ravi Bishnoi
  11. Yuzvendra Chahal
