Lungi Ngidi, South African pacer who troubled India during the recent Limited overs and Test series, has surprisingly gone unsold on the second day of the IPL Auction, 2022. Ngidi previously played for Chennai Super Kings. The franchise showed no interest in buying back the pacer even after a meager base price of INR 60 Lakhs couldn’t pull the franchises to bid for him. CSK has been pulling their previous players back to the team but not in the case of Ngidi, Faf Du Plessis and Shardul Thakur.
Lungi Ngidi, irrespective of International performance against India in South Africa, has failed to attract the franchises. The pacer has gone unsold in the auction.
