“It was pleasing to the eyes to see him (Virat Kohli) bat,” says Rohit Sharma

India has clinched the series by dominating both the T20s in the 3-match T20 series against West Indies.

Skipper Rohit-led team India has been winning successfully since the start of the series against the West Indies. The ODI series was snatched by a 3-0 win and the T20 series is also won by India as the hosts have won the 2nd T20, earlier today, to assure the series win. Rishabh Pant was declared Man of the Match for his impressive performance of  52* in 28 balls.

Rohit in the post-match conference stated that he feels proud of what the team contributed to this amazing win but at the same time, the fielding skill remains a question in the team.

“We were a bit sloppy on the field. A little disappointed with that. The game would have been different had we taken those catches,” said Rohit Sharma.

Rohit congratulated Virat for his amazing performance in the 2nd T20 as he stated that Virat’s performance was breathtaking and enjoyable. Rohit feels happy with Venkatesh Iyer’s supporting role as he came down the order and performed well for the team.

“It was pleasing to the eyes to see him (Virat Kohli) bat,” says Rohit Sharma.
