The match between Kerala and Meghalaya was played in Rajkot.
Opting to bowl first Kerala restricted Meghalaya at a low score of 148 runs. Sreesanth made a strong comeback as he took 2 wickets, along with Eden Apple’s 4-wicket haul and U. Manukrishnan’s 3-wicket haul.
Poonam Rahul and Kunnummal initiated well for team Kerala as they hit beautiful individual centuries. Kerala lost their first wicket after a rigid score of 201 runs. Vatshal Govind’s century in the middle order added bonus lead-run on the board which helped Kerala to dominate the game.
Kerala won the game by an innings and 166 runs as Meghalaya were once again bowled at a low score of 191 runs.
