Under-19 world cup, 2022, winning captain, Yash Dhull, has been rewarded a place in the squad of Delhi for the upcoming Ranji trophy. After a stellar performance in the knockout stages of the world championship event, Yash Dhull led the team to a victory in the final that was entirely filled with jaw-dropping performances by the Indian side against England.

After winning the championship, the U-19 team was felicitated by the BCCI in Ahmedabad. Due to an uncompromised white ball commitment, Yash Dhull couldn’t compete in the most challenging red ball tournament in the country. However, Yash Dhull has finally slipped into the team as “his confidence is high even though he hasn’t faced the red ball challenge yet,” opined a selector to PTI.

After landing in India on Tuesday morning, Dhull is immediately expected to join the squad on Thursday in Guwahati, followed by a quarantine period of five days alongside the rest of the teammates.
