In the third cricket match, the UAE sets a 177-run target for Nepal.

Aayan Afzal Khan and Hazrat Bilal’s 83-run stand for the last wicket kept the UAE’s innings intact despite the Nepali bowlers’ remarkable performance in claiming UAE wickets at regular intervals.

The United Arab Emirates has set Nepal a target of 177 runs in the third game of the bilateral One-Day International Series, which was played on Friday at the TU cricket ground in Kirtipur.

Nepal won the toss and elected to field first against the visitors. Using all 50 overs, UAE scored 176 runs while losing nine wickets.

Muhammed Wasim, the UAE’s opener, was caught behind by Aasif Sheikh off Gulsaf Jha’s ball in 1.2 overs for 11 runs, as a result of an excellent bowling performance by Nepali bowlers.

Sompal Kami bowled Vriitya Aravind for zero in the third over, capitalizing on the team’s strong start. Jha returned to bowl and dismissed UAE captain Chundangapoyii Rizwan with the first ball of the fourth over. Four runs were scored by Rizwan for his team.

Both Rohan Mustafa and Alishan Sharafu were dismissed within two overs while attempting to stabilize the visitor’s innings. Mustafa scored 24 runs before being caught by Kushal Bhurtel off a ball by Dipendra Singh Airee in 23.2 overs. Sharafu scored 33 runs off 69 deliveries before being bowled by Bhurtel in 25.4 overs.

Before Zahoor Khan was run out for a duck in the 32nd over, Nepal was in a favorable position and needed only one wicket to restrict the visitors to a low score.

However, Aayan Afzal Khan and Hazrat Bilal of the UAE remained at the crease and scored 83 runs together. Khan scored 54 runs off of 63 balls while Bilal added 20 runs to the scoreboard. Both players remained alive.

Jha, Airee, and Bhurtel each grabbed two wickets for Nepal, while Kami and Lalit Rajbanshi each take one.
