Chairman of Delhi Capitals, Parth Jindal shares his opinion on the experienced chinaman Kuldeep Yadav who will be sharing the dressing room with the Delhi squad as DC acquired the left-arm for ₹2 crore in the TATA IPL Mega Auction which was held on February 12 and February 13.

Parth Jindal stated that Kuldeep Yadav was not ‘handled well’ by franchise Kolkata Knight Riders, for which Kuldeep played, since his joining in 2014.

“I don’t think he has been handled well in the IPL for the last few seasons, he is a player who rides very much on confidence. In the environment we’ve created at Delhi Capitals with Ricky Pointing and Rishabh Pant, it is something that we want to give him. He has a lot to prove, and I think the fire in his belly and we are very keen to see what he does in the next IPL,” says Jindal on ‘Auction Alert with Bori

The left-arm spinner has been with KKR since 2014, but the team decided not to keep him ahead of the IPL 2022 mega auction. Due to injuries, he was ruled out of the 2021 season. In the auction, Kuldeep, who had set his base price at INR 1 crore, was acquired by the Delhi franchise for INR 2 crore.
