Delhi Capitals has signed Indian pacer Chetan Sakariya for 4.20 crore, while Rajasthan Royals fought hard for the speedster but pulled out at the final minute.

Since being signed by Rajasthan Royals (RR) last year, Chetan Sakariya’s career has taken off. In white-ball cricket, he has already made his debut for India.

Sakariya declared his ambition to play under Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni ahead of the IPL 2022 mega auction. Sakariya stated that playing under the famous Dhoni is a goal of his and that he hoped to improve if given the opportunity.
