Ghosts Season 2 Episode 5 Recap on CBS
Jay visits the farmer’s market, where he purchases vegetables from June and Ally’s stall. They reveal that they will be attending Liam Neeson’s Halloween party and suspect that Jay was interested in attending.
Jay tricked the neighbors into believing that he and Sam would be hosting their own Halloween celebration. The neighbors agree to pay each other a visit before the other party arrives. Sam consents to host the Halloween party. Jay and Sam are fine with Isaac bringing Nigel. Isaac inquires as to whether he can bring Nigel.
Because of the little notice, Trevor is anxious that no one will attend the event. A small number of people attended the Halloween festivities. When one of Isaac’s neighbors steps through him and ignites the horrible stench, Isaac’s ghostly talent is awakened.
Nigel does not fully comprehend its origin, while Isaac points the finger at Pete. Hetty advises that they organize a seance to impress June and Ally more. When Sam begins to perform the chant, a bolt of lightning will strike and a portal will open, revealing a newly arrived ghost. The humans at the seance table, on the other hand, noticed nothing strange.
The ghost is a former maid who had an affair with Hetty’s husband. Hetty believes the maid should return to the hereafter, but she does not know how the maid got there in the first place.
Everyone has left the party, according to Jay’s disclosure. Sam believes that they have a limited amount of time to persuade Molly to return through the portal before Halloween ends; otherwise, she will be unable to return to the other side. Sam and Jay attempt one more seance ceremony, but they are unsuccessful. Jay believes that they must obtain the feather duster, as it previously belonged to Molly, in order to effectively conduct the ritual.
Pete desires and encourages Isaac to be truthful with Nigel about his ghost power. Isaac feels embarrassed by the possibility that the fart power will convince Nigel to quit. Sam urges Hetty to reconcile with Molly because he believes it will facilitate Hetty’s life progression. The flower has the wonderful idea of putting Hetty and Molly in the same room in order for them to resolve their issues.
They believe the safe will provide a solution to the issue. Flower blocked the vault’s entrance, keeping Hetty, Molly, and Sam within. Alberta and Flower are unable to open the vault door now that Sam is inside the safe because the handle is made of a different material than the door. Sam is terrified and feels she will choke to death within the vault.
Jay visits June and Ally to get the feather duster. Hetty and Molly discuss the past in discussion. Molly reveals that Elias followed her and that she was unable to reject his advances because she was a maid and raising her child alone. The focus of Molly and Hetty’s enmity was Elias, and Molly was the one who gave birth to Elias Syphallus.
Thorfinn employs his abilities to lead Jay to the bathroom. Trevor delivers a message to Jay in the restroom, but Jay misinterprets it. Isaac employs his abilities to persuade Jay to return and read the note that was left for him. Jay is able to determine that Sam is concealing himself in the vault. Sam is released from jail due to Jay’s efforts.
Nigel had no objection to Isaac’s great strength. They are friendly with one another. Molly is shown returning to the afterlife as a result of Sam and Jay’s successful seance. Hetty attempts to cling to her in order to be transported across the river, but she is unsuccessful.
