Lockwood & Co on Netflix is set in an alternative version of London where ghosts roam freely. This eight-part drama series follows heroes Lucy Carlyle, Anthony Lockwood, and George Cubbins, who run a Psychic Detection Agency named Lockwood & Co., as they confront spirits at night.
Based on the fantasy adventure series by author Jonathan Stroud, the series stars Ruby Stokes (Bridgerton), Morven Christie (The Bay), Luke Treadaway (Ordeal by Innocence), and Ben Crompton (Game of Thrones).

What is the Plot of Lockwood & Co?
In the world of Lockwood & Company, England is plagued by a ghost epidemic, which results in the appearance of ghouls roaming the streets. These supernatural beings have the ability to cause death to everyone else they come into contact with, with the exception of children.
Lucy Carlyle, played by Ruby Stokes, is a quick-tempered heroine who goes to London and joins Lockwood & Co., a tiny psychic detecting agency. This agency is one of several that have been established in order to fight back against the ghosts.
Anthony Lockwood, played by Cameron Chapman, is the likable young man in charge, while George Cubbin is his right-hand man (Ali Hadji-Heshmati). The three investigators are up against some of the most dangerous hauntings in the nation’s capital, as well as strong rivalry from larger competitor agencies. However, they are fully equipped with cutting-edge equipment and buckets full of courage.

Development
On May 19, 2020, it was revealed that the production studio Complete Fiction was collaborating with Netflix to make a series based on the Lockwood & Co novel series written by Jonathan Stroud.
Joe Cornish was going to direct the series as well as serve as an executive producer. Lockwood & Company was given an official order for a series on Netflix in December 2020 for a total of eight episodes.
Cornish is the primary writer and director for the project. The roles of executive producers are filled by Nira Park, Rachael Prior, and Cornish. William MacGregor was not just a producer but also a director for various episodes. Ed Hime, Kara Smith, and Joy Wilkinson are the three individuals responsible for writing episodes of the series.
