Rhoslc Season 3: Will Jen’s Guilty Plea Be Seen?

Jeremy Caroll

Andy Cohen said that Bravo was already filming Season 3 before the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Season 2 reunion had aired. Cohen told Entertainment Tonight in February 2022 that “the reunion left off with the women who are staying in quite a dramatic situation, where you don’t know what’s going to happen.” “So I’m delighted that there are cameras on them now.

It’s already getting started, a lot is going on, and I’m glad that we are there filming right now. In a situation comparable to both of them, we did something similar with Beverly Hills, where we began filming the new season very quickly after we shot the reunion.

The trial of Jen Shah, which was slated to start on March 7, is most likely the cause of the expedited production timeline. Later, a judge moved the start date to July 11; on that day, Jen, who had maintained her innocence for more than a year, changed her plea to guilty. Shah acknowledged to the judge at her appearance in a federal court in Manhattan that she had engaged in “wire fraud, promising services with little to no value.” Her plea agreement apparently stipulates that she must serve 11 to 14 years in prison and pay up to $9.5 million in reparations.

Jen, Heather Gay, and Meredith Marks, who will be an unusual trio of pals this season, flew to New York City together in the days prior to the plea deal, and Bravo cameras were in tow, as seen in a number of social media posts. There has also been a tonne of other drama that has played out in real-time, including two cast exits. Here is everything that is currently known about RHOSLC Season 3.

Date of the Rhoslc Season 3 Premiere

As is customary for Bravo, the network only announced RHOSLC’s renewal one month before the next season began. The third season of RHOSLC will debut on Bravo on September 28 at 9 p.m. If past trends hold true, new episodes will stream on Peacock the day after they air on Bravo.

The Third Trailer for Rhoslc

The RHOSLC Season 3 trailer, which was unveiled on August 31 on E!, is hotter than a Utah winter. The new trailer opens with Jen saying, “I’m innocent,” before building to her final guilty plea. However, Salt Lake City’s current hot topics go beyond Jen’s legal troubles.

While Heather displays a black eye and jokes that “maybe somebody” punched her in the face, as Lisa Barlow put it, Whitney discloses the “extremely abusive environment” she endured. Most startlingly, Meredith accuses Lisa, her ex-best friend, of performing “favors” to promote her brand of tequila Vida. Lisa asks, “Are you crazy?” Clearly, the SLC Housewives continue to have a chilly relationship.

The Cast of Rhoslc Season 3

Whitney Rose and Lisa Barlow are among the other RHOSLC alumni, in addition to Jen, Heather, and Meredith. Filming had concluded, according to the Real Housewives Franchise Instagram account, which announced that Angie Katsanevas and Danna Bui-Negrete had taken over the last two full-time roles.

The only full-time Housewives on Season 3 are Heather, Meredith, Lisa, Jen, and Whitney, as E! announced on August 31. Angie and Danna will also join the show in “Friend” roles, along with Lisa’s ex-friend Angie Harrington, who made a brief appearance on Season 2.

Early in March, Radar revealed that successful salon owner Angie Katsanevas and Utah luxury realtor Tyna Edwards had been observed filming with the women. The Queens of Bravo Instagram account posted pictures of Angie with the RHOSLC cast while mentioning that the alleged newcomer had attended an audition for the program in 2019 on Heather’s advice.

Danna, a prominent real estate realtor in Salt Lake City, posted an Instagram picture of Whitney and Lisa at a neighborhood pride celebration on June 4. I adore you, Dana. So much fun!” exclaimed Lisa.

Whitney warned fans to anticipate “huge dynamic shifts” in Season 3 during an Instagram Q&A after the initial round of filming wrapped up in the spring. She summed it up in three words: unexpected, dynamic, and intense. Following the incident, some of the women’s social media posts appeared to imply that Lisa was at odds with Heather, Jen, Meredith, and Angie Harrington, raising the possibility of drama this season.

Will Jen’s Guilty Plea Be Seen?

In July, a production source told E! News that filming for Season 3 had ended but had resumed once Jen amended her plea to guilty. Though cameras were not allowed in the courtroom, “production shot confessionals on the women’s emotions that will most certainly be included in Season 3.

This is mirrored in the trailer, which shows Jen exiting the courthouse after pleading guilty. However, the insider revealed that cameras were no longer following Jen, who is scheduled back in New York for sentence on November 28.

According to a separate source, several of Jen’s co-stars were “shocked” and “disappointed” to find she altered her plea to guilty. “Throughout it all, Jen has never wavered in her innocence,” an insider told E! News, adding that several of her co-stars now feel “duped, deceived, and lied to by their friend.”
