The air date for The Neighborhood Season 5 Episode 10 is approaching quickly. The show sheds light on the white Johnson family, who recently relocated to a predominantly black area of Los Angeles. They moved here but actually come from Michigan.
They discover that they are the only white family in the area and are having a difficult time integrating with their neighbors, who are interested in a prosperous black neighborhood for themselves and their community.
Many people in the audience have complained that this show is somewhat racist because it would be canceled right away if the roles were reversed. However, given that this is a lighthearted comedy sitcom series, the Johnsons’ attempts to blend in and make friends with everyone in the neighborhood literally take center stage.
Back in Welcome to the Working Week, episode nine of season five of The Neighborhood, we saw that Calvin had warmed up to Grover considerably and had even hired the youngster to work for his company.
