The second season of Outer Banks, a teen drama that focuses on a mystery, was released on Netflix in July of this year. The show is about a group of people who hunt down a legendary treasure, and it places a strong emphasis on the theme of friendship, particularly between John B and the Pogues.
During the second season, viewers were treated to a number of shocking developments, including the passing of several cherished characters on the show as well as the narrow escape of a great number of others.
Everyone Who Has Died in ‘Outer Banks’ Season 2
At the end of season 2, viewers see that Ward is still alive. Rafe, his son, also makes it to the end, but not everyone does. Distractify keeps track of all the Outer Banks characters who died in the second season.
The main characters make it through, but a few of the other characters die. Gavin was a pilot who was one of them. Gavin found out that Rafe killed the sheriff, so he tries to get Ward to pay him to keep quiet. Ward instead shoots him and gets rid of the body.
Later, Rafe and Renfield give Carla, Renfield’s older half-sister, the Cross of Santo Domingo. Renfield and her get into a fight, and Carla kills Renfield in the fight.
Gavin and Renfield seem to be the only ones who die in season 2 of Outer Banks, which is good news. But if the show gets a third season, it’s possible that more characters will die.
Sarah and Ward Almost Died as Well
While only a few characters perish, there are several close calls. Rafe shoots Sarah after John B. and Sarah are rescued following the boating tragedy. Despite the fact that it was an accident, she was nearly killed by her wound. Fortunately, John B brings her to a licensed physician for emergency care.
After the bullet is extracted, Sarah begins to regain her composure and the situation begins to improve. As soon as her pulse returned to normal, fans were able to calm down. Regarding her father, Ward, the season takes an unexpected turn. He recognized that an arrest warrant had been issued for him.

In episode six, Ward entices the cops to his yacht. He blows up the location and convinces everyone that he is dead. However, it is revealed later that he is still alive. Ward evaded the explosion by using his scuba equipment to dive into the ocean. Sarah is angry with her father because of these events, but she is relieved to learn that her dad is not dead.
