Yellowstone Season 5 will officially premiere in a matter of a few months from now. The western is now the most watched program on cable television, and it serves as the centerpiece of what is rapidly becoming a larger Yellowstone world.
Several spin-offs are also in the process of being developed. To keep you over until the premiere of the next season of Yellowstone, which will take place in November, TV Guide is compiling every shred of news that comes out of the ranch in the meanwhile.
The gruesome and explosive cliffhanger that occurred at the end of Season 3 was replaced by a much more subdued conclusion in Season 4. We all know that Beth (Kelly Reilly), the real brains behind every operation on the Yellowstone-Dutton Ranch, is the one who led her adopted brother Jamie (Wes Bentley) into killing his biological father, Garrett. Garrett was Jamie’s adoptive father (Will Patton).

It was later revealed that Garrett was the one who ordered the assassination attempts on John (Kevin Costner), Beth, and Kayce (Luke Grimes) during Season 3, so in Beth’s opinion, he was more than deserving of what happened to him.
As a result of Beth ensuring that she had evidence of the deed, she is now in a position to exert complete control over Jamie, who is running for governor against his own father, who is also running to prevent him from winning. It’s basically Beth’s universe, and everyone else is just existing in it for the time being. She recently got married in a spur-of-the-moment ceremony to Rip Wheeler (played by Cole Hauser), and she also witnessed her father’s new, perplexing vegan friend (played by Piper Perabo) being sent to jail.
Beth’s mission to dominate the world and Montana is made more difficult by the fact that Kayce has recently returned from an intense spiritual journey that provided him with foresight of two different ways forward. He told Monica (Kelsey Asbille) that “the end of us” would be the result of at least one of those pathways, but not all of them. Whatever that signifies, it certainly can’t be a good thing, and it makes the already difficult wait for season 5 that much more difficult.
The cast of Yellowstone Season 5
In Season 5, there will be some returning cast members as well as some brand new ones. It has been since the third season that Josh Lucas has reprised his role as young John Dutton on the show. This time around, he’ll be joined by Kylie Rogers, who will play young Beth, and Kyle Red Silverstein, who will play young Rip. This suggests that we’ll be seeing a lot of flashbacks.

Mo Brings Plenty and Wendy Moniz has been promoted to series regulars in their roles as Thomas Rainwater (Gil Birmingham’s right-hand )’s man Mo and Governor Lynelle Perry, respectively. Jacki Weaver also reprises her role as the Duttons’ most recent adversary in the business world, Market Equities CEO Caroline Warner.
Yellowstone will also be getting the addition of four brand-new characters. Rowdy, is the role of a young cowboy that will be played by Kai Caster. The character of Abby, a musician, is played by Lainey Wilson. Clara Brewer, a new assistant working for one of the Duttons, will be portrayed by Lilli Kai (we feel bad for her already). And 1883’s Dawn Olivieri is joining the cast in the role of Sarah Atwood, who is described as a “business shark” and a newcomer to Montana in the official character description.

The entirety of the bunkhouse will also be returning, including Forrie J. Smith, Denim Richards, Ian Bohen, Ryan Bingham, and Jen Landon as Teeter, who has been elevated to a series regular for her role in the show.
Along with Jefferson White, who portrays the role of Jimmy, the character of Emily, played by Kathryn Kelly, has also been elevated to the status of a series regular and will be returning. In light of this, it may be deduced that the reformed problem magnet will be remaining in some capacity, despite the fact that they selected the Four Sixes over Yellowstone.

During the summer, production for the fifth season got underway. On a regular basis, the cast members uploaded photos of the breathtaking filming sites on their social media accounts, such as the one that Cole Hauser posted.
The picture, together with the statement he provided about Season 5, appears to put an end to any speculations that he won’t be returning to the program; nevertheless, in the Wild West, one can never be certain of what the future holds.
Sneak Peek at the Trailer
An ominous teaser trailer for Season 5 was shown for the first time during the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards, and it featured the very first footage from the season.
John Dutton’s voice may be heard saying, “We’ll show the world who we are and what we do,” while photographs of the Dutton family are displayed on the screen. After that, the preview drops a hint that “All will be disclosed” before revealing that the debut on November 13 will be a two-hour event.
