Your Honor Season 2 Episode 2 Review

Season 2 of Your Honor focuses on the aftermath of Adam’s death and Michael’s grief. He is a disheveled, broken shell of a man who has lost the most important thing in his life, and his world will never be the same again.

But, as if the unexpected death of his son wasn’t heartbreaking enough, there’s a new player in the game to contend with. Olivia (Rosie Perez), a federal prosecutor, arrives unexpectedly and wishes to use Michael as a pawn to bring the Baxter family down. Though Michael is hesitant to offer his assistance, he is forced to when she refuses to accept no for an answer.

Your Honor Season 2 Episode 4 Release Date, Time and Where To Watch

Season 2 of Your Honor excels with its deeper exploration of each character and the varying emotions woven into the plot. Because we as humans experience grief, love, and loss, even if viewers do not relate to each character, a deeper connection can be formed when the audience understands their emotions.

Season 2 of Your Honor may not be as gripping as Season 1, but every subplot is intriguing, and you can’t help but feel empathy for some characters as their journey unfolds.

The cast deserves praise for bringing so much emotion and tension to each of their roles. Michael has a hole in his heart, and Cranston does an excellent job of portraying the anguish he feels as a loving father who misses his son terribly.

Stuhlbarg expertly balances Jimmy’s calm and collected exterior with his menacing presence, all while the audience waits with bated breath to see if his halo will fall. Olivia is an enticing newcomer from the start, and Perez nails her assertiveness and manipulation.

Gina takes on a larger role in the second season, and we get a closer look at her strained relationship with Jimmy as well as a better understanding of who she is beneath the surface.

The same can be said for Fia (Lilli Kay), who has always felt like an outcast among her relatives due to her gentle personality. Her disinterest in the family business is stronger than ever, and she is devastated by Adam’s brutal death, as expected.

Fia’s storyline in season 2 is also surprising, and we get to see a side of her that we haven’t seen before.
