Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has long admired Marcelo Bielsa, the former head coach of Leeds United.

The dismissal of Marcelo Bielsa as Leeds United’s head coach shocked the football world yesterday. Since he is generally regarded as an inspirational character for numerous renowned coaches from other continents, Bielsa’s impact has been significant. His time as a coach at Leeds United, when he re-established the club as a Premier League competitor spending 16 years in the English second and third levels, will be remembered fondly.

Coaches have started to admire the man who many see as a mentor in their managing and supervisory positions.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola sent his sympathy to the Argentine, stating, “I am extremely sad for him.” “His legacy is there in Leeds’ city and the club, and I am very sure with the players,” Manchester City tweeted.
