She missed them and wanted to see them again, so she built a hotel in the hopes that it would act as a beacon and bring her long-lost relatives back to her. This hotel grew into the well-known Nakwon hotel chain over time.

Ja Geum Soon is getting close to the end of her life, and she wants to see her grandson I’m Moon Sung, who she doesn’t know by name. The old woman’s faithful servant, Jung Sang Cheol, comes up with a plan to make her feel better before she dies: he hires an actress who looks like I’m Moon Sung. He goes looking for Yoo Jae Heon, a failed actor who is now playing a North Korean soldier in a play. So does Yoo Jae Heon. Before he tries to go back to the North, he is told to act like a defector and visit an old woman. But it’s clear very quickly that he’s taken on way too much.

He also meets Park Se Yeon, who is in charge of Nakwon and is Ja Geum Soon’s granddaughter. She swears she will never give it up!

Preview of Curtain Call Episode 9

Because he is there, both of them are ready for anything. When the talk is over, everyone goes to a restaurant to eat. Geum-soon said that the two should work together. He makes it clear that this is what drives his relationship with her. Everyone was upset, except Se-Yeon, who was the one who had asked Geum-soon out in the first place.

She really wants him to work at the hotel. From Jae’s point of view, this is a reluctant agreement. Se-icy Heon’s opposite, Hyun Ji-won, seems to accept Jae-Heon and Yoon-hee into his extended family, which makes Joon very angry. Ji-won wants to get to know Yoon-hee better, so he suggests that they go shopping for vintage clothes for a party together.

Jae-first Heon is right in the middle of his workday. After getting ready, he runs into Se-Yeon outside, and she gives him a compliment as she ties his tie. Look at how confused he looks. He is clenching his teeth. It’s clear that Jae-Heon and Se-romantic Yeon love each other.

When Jae-Heon gets to the hotel, he is surprised to find out that Se-Yeon has asked him to help plan. He doesn’t want to be found out, so he looks for work where he doesn’t have to deal with famous people. Song Jong-Hak takes over for Se-Yeon as Executive Director Kim and works with A-listers.

When he met Jae-Heon for the first time, Jae’s quick rise to the planning team made him suspicious of favoritism. ED Kim says that Jae-Heon has chosen to work as a porter instead of doing this important job. Se-Yeon was upset because she thought that he would vote to keep the motel open.

After a long first day, Se-Yeon asks Jae-Heon to join her and her coworkers for dinner. Before Se-buddy Yeon and his assistant Hong Ra try to get a live shot of Jae-Heon, everyone is drinking and having a good time.
