Beyoncé surpasses her husband Jay-Z as the artist with the most Grammy nominations in history

Beyoncé is the artist with the most Grammy nominations in history. On Tuesday, November 15, 2022, the Run The World singer topped the list of nominees with a total of nine nominations, surpassing her husband Jay-Z as the actress with the most nominations in the history of the awards program.

Beyoncé holds the record for the most Grammys ever won, with 28. With three further nominations, her husband Jay-Z now has a total of 86 nominations and 24 wins.

Beyoncé, on the other hand, has 79 nominations under her belt prior to the announcement of Grammy Award nominees for 2023. She was recently nominated in nine categories. Currently, she has 88 nominations, making her the artist with the most Grammy nominations in history.

Beyoncé is one of the most celebrated women in Grammys history, per our records. Currently, she has 28 victories. By winning four more prizes the following year, she can surpass the record of the late British-Hungarian conductor Georg Solti for most victories. She has held the record since 1997 when she surpassed Georg Solti’s 31 Grammys.

Beyoncé topped the list of Grammys 2023 nominees

Beyoncé has been nominated in a total of nine categories for the Grammys 2023, including album of the year for Renaissance as well as best dance/electronic music album, a record of the year for Break My Soul, and song of the year for Renaissance.

Additionally, Break My Soul was nominated for best dance/electronic recording. Also nominated for best R&B performance was Beyoncé for Virgo’s Groove.

Additionally, Beyoncé was nominated for best traditional R&B performance for Plastic Off the Sofa and best R&B song for Cuff It Up. Last but not least, her song Be Alive was nominated for best music written for visual media (from King Richard).

Kendrick Lamar finished in second place with eight nominations. Adele and Brandi Cardi both received seven nominations. Six nominations were given to Harry Styles, Mary J. Blige, Future, DJ Khaled, The-Dream, and mastering engineer Randy Merrill.
