Ivanka Trump has expressed her “heartbreak” over the news of her mother’s death at age 73.
She is “intelligent, charming, passionate, and wickedly humorous,” according to the daughter of the successful entrepreneur and one-time presidential advisor.
The former first lady of the United States, Ivana Trump, passed away at her New York City residence.
Ivanka Trump tweeted, “Heartbroken by the loss of my mother.”
“Mom was extremely intelligent, affable, devoted, and hilarious. She enjoyed every moment of her life, and she never missed a chance to laugh or dance.
I will always remember her and she will never be forgotten.
Although Donald Trump has been permanently banned from Twitter, he made the announcement on his own social media site, Truth Social.
He remarked, “It is with great sadness that I must notify all of those who loved her that Ivana Trump passed away at her residence in New York City.”

She had a tremendous and inspiring life and was a wonderful, gorgeous, remarkable woman.
Her three children, Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric, were the lights of her life. Just as we were proud of her, she was equally proud of them. In Memory of Ivana.
Ivana was called “a force in business, a world-class athlete, a dazzling beauty, and a compassionate mother and friend” in a separate statement released by the Trump family.
A photo of the Trump family was also posted online by Eric Trump.
Sarah Palin, a former governor of Alaska and a vice presidential contender, was one of several US politicians to pay respect to Ivana, calling her “lovely and generous.”
She commented, “My condolences to the Trump family for the passing of the lovely and kind Ivana.”
When she visited Alaska in 1996, she was the first member of the Trump family I had ever met.
I recall waiting in line to see her at the JC Penney in Anchorage when she was promoting her new perfume.
Ivana, a ski racer and model from the Czech Republic, wed Donald Trump in 1977.
In addition to her role in the 1996 smash blockbuster, The First Wives Club, her unique accent and trademark beehive hairstyle made her a household name.
In 2010, Ivana appeared as a special guest on the seventh season of the UK version of Celebrity Big Brother.
Ivana Zelnickova was born in Gottwaldov, Czechoslovakia in 1949. Gottwaldov was once known as Zlin before the Communist takeover of the nation in 1948.
She wed four times, with the most recent being to Italian actor Rossano Rubicond.

The former president posted on his social networking site Truth Social the news of his ex-death, wife eulogizing her as a “lovely, beautiful, and remarkable woman, who had a tremendous inspirational life.”
Local officials confirm to PEOPLE that around 12:40 p.m. on Thursday, emergency personnel were sent to Trump’s New York City residence after receiving a 911 call reporting that she was alone and unconscious. On the spot, medical personnel determined that she had passed away.
Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric Trump are the offspring of their former spouse. Three of Eric Trump’s children paid homage to their mom in an Instagram post.

As the caption puts it, “Our mother was a remarkable individual: an entrepreneur, an athlete on the international stage, a stunning beauty, and a devoted mother and friend. Ivana Trump overcame adversity.
She was afraid of the communist regime in her home country, so she came here. She instilled in them the values of resilience, kindness, and perseverance. Mother, children, and grandkids all mourn her passing.”
Some of the images in the post include the full Trump family, while others focus on only Ivana and Trump Jr.
Politicians and celebrities were not the only ones affected by the news of Ivana Trump’s death; many expressed their condolences on social media.
The president’s lawyer, former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani, tweeted, “Ivana Trump was a wonderfully talented, creative, and lovely lady.” He elaborated by saying “To New York City, in particular, she made a substantial contribution.
Surprisingly, given the enormity of the challenges they’ve faced, she and President Donald J. Trump have raised a family that has contributed to the world remarkably good, balanced, and respectable children and grandkids.”
Kayleigh McEnany, former press secretary for President Trump and current Fox News contributor, tweeted to the Trump family, “For the passing of Ivana Trump, my family and I offer our deepest condolences to President Trump, Ivanka Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, and the rest of the Trump family. I’m keeping you and your loved ones in my thoughts as you go through this trying time.”
Domenico Vacca, an Italian high-end designer, recently uploaded a selfie with President Trump on Instagram with the message, “The best of friends forever.” “We are too sorry to write right now.
I’m in a lot of emotional and physical distress right now. You should not have departed so soon, my lovely Ivana. To conclude: #ivanatrump #rip.” In addition, the designer shared the image on his Instagram with the caption, “RIP my dear buddy.”
Actress and former model Alana Stewart tweeted her “prayers to the Trump family” with the hashtag “#ripIvana.”
Rep. Byron Donalds of Florida was quick to tweet his condolences to the Trump family, saying, “Ivana Trump led an incredible and dignified life, and her legacy will long live on through her three kids.” He then tagged each of Ivana Trump’s three children individually.
Former deputy assistant to the president Sebastian Gorka, former Bush alum and NRC national spokesperson Paris Dennard, former GOP Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel, former Trump White House correspondent Camryn Kinsey, and senior advisor to Trump Stephen Miller were among the other prominent former government officials who tweeted their condolences to Ivana Trump.
James Edstrom, one of Trump’s former photographers, tweeted, “she was a treasure,” while Harry Benson, another former Trump photographer, added, “the lively first wife of the former president was always outgoing and cordial when we chance to encounter in passing. RIP…”
