Lil Durk provided an update on his condition via social media
The Laugh Now Cry Later rapper gave his followers on Instagram an update on his health on Sunday, and he included admirers from all over the world in the conversation. Instagram is a social media platform where he shared a picture of himself in which he can be seen sitting in a hospital bed with a bandage covering his right eye and a mask covering his face.
“Due to the situation that occurred on stage at Lollapalooza in Chicago, I’m going to take a hiatus and concentrate on taking care of my health. I finished my presentation for my audience the day before yesterday. He captioned the photo with the phrase “appreciate y’all.”

The video that Lil Durk took at the music event quickly became popular across a variety of social media platforms, including Instagram and Twitter. The video captures the moment when the singer walks across the stage, immediately followed by the moment when two columns of smoke hit him square in the face.
A short time later, the What Happened to Virgil rapper could be seen concealing his face with his T-shirt as the music came to an abrupt halt. At the same moment, a voice could be heard coming through the mike saying, “Woah, woah, you alright, bro? It rose vertically in every direction,” referring to the smoke.
After waiting for approximately a few moments, Durk finally responded by saying, “F–k it, no more smoke, let’s do it,” after which he continued his act. The headlining acts of the music festival were Dua Lipa and Machine Gun Kelly.
At this year’s Lollapalooza event, performances were given by a wide variety of musicians, including Doja Cat, J. Cole, Lil Baby, The Kid Laroi, Charli XCX, Jax Jones, and Kygo. During the course of the music festival that lasted for four days, a total of 170 different performers performed on stage.

As soon as Durk revealed on Instagram that he will be taking a sabbatical to focus all of his attention on his health, many of his friends and admirers went to the comments area of the post to leave him well-wishes and let him know they are thinking about him during this time.
Boxing pro Ryan Garcia sent his well wishes, writing, “Get better soon bro bro.” While this was going on, the singer for Sunflower, Swae Lee, commented, “Dam quick recovery.” The sportscaster Bob Menery continued by saying, “Hope you’re doing well, bro.”
Following that, Charmaine Bey remarked, “Wow. My apologies for what transpired with you, Durk! In spite of everything, it was a fantastic show! Sending love and prayers for your speedy recovery, brother.” Trippie Redd, singer for Miss The Rage, sent Durk a message that read, “Damn get better bro.” in which he expressed his best wishes for Durk’s recovery.
