In a new post, Linda Evangelista claims that her jaw and neck are both fakes!

Linda Evangelista returned to modeling on the cover of British Vogue following a cosmetic treatment that she claims left her “grotesquely disfigured.”

The 57-year-old woman revealed that she hardly left the house for five years following a cryolipolysis operation in which fat cells were destroyed.

Evangelista revealed how, three months after therapy, her face and other body parts began to protrude. Eventually, a physician diagnosed her with paradoxical adipose hyperplasia, an uncommon side effect of the medication.

The negative effect can occur when the treated area gets stiffer and forms an expanded mass beneath the skin, as opposed to disintegrating.

“If I had known side effects may include losing your job and becoming so miserable that you loathe yourself, I would not have taken the drug. I would not have taken such a chance ” Evangelista told British Vogue with anguish.

The supermodel had her face, jaw, and neck pushed back using tape and elastics in preparation for the cover photo.

She also covered her wounds with an oversized hat and scarves.

She told the magazine, “That’s not my jaw and neck in real life, and I can’t walk around with tape and elastics everywhere.”

The mother of one also stated why she consented to have her skin taped back for the picture.

Evangelista stated, “You know what? I’m trying to love myself as I am.”

“Regarding photographs, I believe we are here to create imaginations. We are building dreams. I believe that is permitted. In addition, my fears are eliminated in these photographs, allowing me to pursue my passion.”

The supermodel explained how she would only leave the house to drive her 15-year-old son Augustin to school, but she knew she had to begin living again.

She stated, “I could not endure that pain any longer.”

“I realized I needed to make a change, and the only change available to me was to reveal the truth.”

Evangelista has spent years utilizing a variety of therapies, including liposuction twice and a variety of others, to correct the damage caused by the cryolipolysis operation.

“I have numerous incisions on my body. I received stitches, wore compression garments under my chin, and girded my entire body for eight weeks, but nothing helped “She stated,

In an emotional Instagram post from the previous year, Evangelista reported that her fat cells were expanding rather than reducing.

She also filed a lawsuit against Zeltiq CoolSculpting, but both parties moved to dismiss the suit.

“I’m delighted that the CoolSculpting case has been resolved. I am excited to go on to the next chapter of my life with my friends and family, and I am relieved that this situation is now resolved “In July, Evangelista posted on Instagram.

She gained prominence in the 1990s alongside Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer, and Christy Turlington as one of the first true supermodels.

Evangelista is also famous for the comment, “I don’t get out of bed for less than $10,000 every day.”
