The trailer for the third season of Never Have I Ever hints at the arrival of a new possible suitor for Devi.
At the beginning of the trailer, we see Devi and Paxton walking hand in hand through the school corridor as they attempt to steal all of the attention from their fellow pupils.
However, Devi quickly realizes that having Paxton as a lover also has a bad influence on her, as practically all of the other girls at her school are now green with envy because of her relationship with Paxton.
“The first episode of ‘Daxton’ was out of this world. Because of the meteoric rise in your social status, almost everyone despises you today, ” comments Eleanor, her close friend. After that, the preview shows some passionate make-out scenes between Paxton and Devi, but they are cut short when Devi’s shirt gets trapped on her head as she tries to remove it.
“Is it plausible that the two of us are living together?” Devi turns to her friends for advice since she is apprehensive about the future of her relationship. Paxton is shown telling her in another scene, “I like you,” to which she responds, “Yeah, but why?” No one else thinks we make any sense.”
The preview also demonstrates Devi’s close relationship with Ben Gross. And as if the love triangle involving Paxton, Devi, and Ben from the previous season wasn’t enough, the program now has an other prospective suitor for Devi. In reference to the new teenager, Devi’s cousin Kamala exclaims, “That is very hot,” to which Nalini Vishwakumar replies, “Extremely hot!”
On August 12, 2022, the season will become available to stream on Netflix. Check out the promo video down below.
There will be a Total of Four More Seasons of This Show
In March of this year, Never Have I Ever was given a renewal for a fourth and final season of the series. When asked about the decision to discontinue the show after four seasons, the show’s creator, Mindy Kailing, commented as follows: “Four seasons for a high school show felt like it made sense.
They can’t possibly stay in high school indefinitely. Those shows are familiar to us. Consider that you have spent the past 12 years studying on the high school level. What exactly is going on around here?
She continued by saying, “Also, the performers get older, and it starts appearing strange that a 34-year-old is playing a 15-year-old,” which is exactly what happened in the show.
In April of 2020, the first season of the show debuted, and it was immediately hailed as a seminal milestone in the history of South Asian representation in the entertainment industry. In addition, the series was met with favorable reviews from both audiences and critics alike.
