When it first aired a year ago, the fantasy anime Redo of Healer, which was adapted from the light novel series Kaiyari, was met with a positive response from spectators. Is There Going to Be a Second Season of the Redo of Healer Show?
There has been no announcement made by the producers of the program or the animation studio TNK regarding whether or not the show will be renewed for a second season at this time. On the 31st of March, 2021, when the first season came to a conclusion, everyone was anticipating an official statement in the near future; however, this did not take place.
In a tweet sent out not long after the conclusion of the first season was broadcast, the author of the light novel, Rui Tsukiyo, revealed that production on the second season had not yet been greenlit. In one of his tweets, he said, “Thank you for viewing the final episode of Redo of Healer! We’ll see you later, Redo of the Healer globe!”
“Unfortunately, the second season has not been confirmed, but it appears that they are contemplating it, so we would really appreciate it if you could support us so that it can perhaps be confirmed! You’ll be able to find out very soon whether or not there will be a second season!” the tweet continued.
On the other hand, the manga series presently consists of 11 volumes, with the most recent one being published on August 10 of this year. Therefore, there is a large amount of source material for the anime to cover, and this appears to be a good omen for the revival of the show. Sentai Filmworks holds the rights for the anime’s distribution outside of Japan.
Rehash of the Predicted Storyline for the Second Season of Healer
The first season centered on Keyaru, a healing magician who had been subjected to numerous acts of physical and sexual abuse throughout her life. On the other hand, he quickly becomes aware of the full extent of his abilities and learns that the category of healing magician is the most powerful type of magician in the world.
He then uses his powers and the magic of the Philosopher’s Stone to travel back in time by four years, where he makes the decision to start over with everything and exact revenge on everyone who attacked him. By the time the season is up, Keyaru has come to the conclusion that he would never be able to find inner calm unless he exacts his vengeance on Bullet, the man who had sexually assaulted him in the past.
If there is a subsequent season, it will focus on the journey that Keyaru takes as he seeks to exact revenge on Bullet for the attack that he suffered in the previous season.
Cast Recasting for the Second Season of Healer
It’s possible that some of your favorite voice actors will return for the following season. The continuation of Yuya Hozumi’s role as the voice of Keyaruga is widely anticipated. Ayano Shibuya could provide the voice of Freia, Shizuka Ishigami could provide the voice of Setsuna, Natsuki Aikawa could provide the voice of Kureha Crylet, Yasuaki Takumi could provide the voice of Leonard, and Mami Fujita could provide the voice of Blade.
Tetsu Inada, who will play the role of Bullet in the anime, Natsumi Takamori, who will play Eve Reese, Asuka Nishi, who will play Anna, and Takaya Hashi, who will play King Prome, will also provide their voices.
