“Saved By The Bell” leaving Netflix? Check out!

Another significant classic television series is leaving Netflix in the U.S. Currently, all nine seasons of Saved by the Bell are scheduled to leave Netflix US on September 15, 2022, with a removal date of September 15.

In September 2021, Netflix uploaded the first nine seasons of Saved by the Bell, albeit only in the United States.

It labels the show differently than other streaming services.

Both Peacock and Hulu currently stream the classic seasons of the show, however they display them over a span of only five seasons as opposed to nine.

There are also additional issues with the service’s seasonal listing. Missing episodes, unusual episode ordering, and the way in which they’ve divided some of the films are all highly peculiar.

Netflix can have access to

The Saved by the Bell television series (Seasons 1-6)
Hawaiian Style (4 episodes)
The University Years (19 episodes)
Wedding in Las Vegas (4 episodes)
Netflix is currently broadcasting a total of 126 episodes of Saved by the Bell.

As described above, all the seasons listed expire on September 15. That means the last day to view them on Netflix is September 14 at midnight local time, after which they will be removed.

Why will Saved by the Bell be removed from Netflix?

Simply explained, Netflix does not own the show and has just leased (essentially rented) it for one year.

Rysher Entertainment, which is owned by Vine Alternative Investments, is named as the show’s owner, however CBS Media Ventures (Paramount Global) is assumed to be the distributor.

As a result, these seasons may go to Paramount+ or remain available on Hulu or Peacock, both of which are streaming at the time of publication.

One theory is that the show was licenced to Netflix to promote the Peacock series, which debuted in 2020 and lasted two seasons before being discontinued.

Why is it only a year? That is already very normal for shows leased to streaming services. The days of licenced shows being lent out for years and years at a time are long gone.

September 2022 will be another hectic month for Netflix deletions. The Vampire Diaries, along with dozens of other movies, is poised to quit Netflix in the United States.

As previously reported, Netflix has lost scores of great episodes over the years as distributors withdraw content for their streaming services and content expenses skyrocket.
