The third season of Power Book II: Ghost is scheduled to premiere in the following months. Tariq St. Patrick, played by Michael Rainey Jr., is the protagonist of the program, which is set in the aftermath of the murder of his father, James “Ghost” St. Patrick, played by Omari Hardwick.
The production of Ghost Season 3 had just wrapped up in New York, and both Rainey and Gianni Paolo, who plays Tariq’s best buddy Brayden Weston, are just as curious to see what comes next as the fans are.
In the Third Season of “Power Book Ii: Ghost,” Tariq Will Come to a Fork in the Road
Tariq has had a lot of things happening in his life ever since he discovered the truth about his father in Power. He’s never understood Ghost more than he does now that he’s a drug dealer in his own right and managing his life as a college student at the same time. When Power Book II: Ghost returns for its third season, Tariq will discover that he has arrived at a fork in the path.

According to Rainey Jr.’s comments to PopSugar, “Right now, he’s kind of fighting that choice to make.” As you saw in conclusion, Tariq doesn’t really have a clear idea of what he wants to achieve with his life. Who knows what he will do, what with all the problems he is currently experiencing and the amount of money he will have to spend?
It’s possible that he’ll have to dip his toe back into the water. Tariq is having a tough time with it right now. It’s not clear what the best course of action is for him.
The third season of Ghost is just around the corner
Paolo and Rainey revealed to their listeners in a recent edition of their podcast, The Crew Has It, that production for the third season of Ghost has officially wrapped up. Since production on the play had begun in January 2022, these were drawn-out months filled with arduous labor.

Although they were unable to reveal the release date, Rainey did provide some information regarding the upcoming season. “Yeah, we recently finished filming season 3, which is something that all of you have been requesting, and now we can finally deliver it to you… “not a date, because we don’t know yet,” was his response to my question.
But now that we’ve reached this point, there’s nothing else we can share with you. The rest of the details are now being worked out. They are making a strong showing.”
The Friendship Between Tariq, Brayden, and Effie Will Change Significantly in the Future
We are aware that the bond between Tariq, Brayden, and Effie (Alix Lapri) may not make it through this season, despite the fact that Rainey and Paolo are not disclosing too many secrets about the upcoming series. When Effie and Brayden found out that Tariq’s ex-girlfriend Lauren (Paige Hurd) was going to be compelled to testify against Tariq in court during the second season, they devised a plan to get rid of her.
Tariq had a genuine affection for Lauren, and the realization that his pals were complicit in her passing is likely to both devastate and infuriate him.
Rainey told PopSugar, “I just know that Tariq’s going to be making some money, and obviously, he’s going to be fighting a lot because he’s trying to figure out what’s going on with Lauren and how her situation went because he doesn’t really know what happened.”
“I just know that Tariq’s going to be making some money and obviously, he’s going to be fighting a lot because he’s trying to figure out what’s going Then, as we previously mentioned, Brayden and Effie are working together in an effort to keep that fact from him. Therefore, there is going to be yet another event that takes place. There will be a lot of action taking place.”
