Sarah Hamrick appeared on the October 17 episode of Bachelor in Paradise. She was one of five new women brought to the beach after seven couples were informed they would be separated for a week. Sarah and the other newcomers are now able to get to know the men away from the prying eyes of the women with whom they had previously built relationships.

Sarah appeared on The Bachelor season 26 with Clayton Echard. The pair bonded quickly, and Clayton presented Sarah with a group date rose during week two. In week three, she had a one-on-one with Clayton, when their bond deepened and she received another rose. During week six, Sarah went on another date.

However, Clayton began to worry whether she was prepared for the commitment he desired following the event. Clayton began to worry that Sarah’s young age would be a problem for them after another participant, Mara Agrait, claimed that Sarah wasn’t on the show for the appropriate reasons.
On the date, Sarah became upset and began to cry, prompting Clayton to apologize to her. He ultimately gave her the rose for the one-on-one date and then eliminated Mara at the rose ceremony. However, Sarah was eliminated on the following group date during week 7, one episode prior to their hometowns.
What Does Sarah Hamrick Do?
Sarah, who is barely 24 years old, works as a financial management advisor in New York City. According to her LinkedIn profile, she has been employed by SmartAsset, a financial technology business, since the beginning of 2022. Previously, Sarah was employed with Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

She joined the Financial Advisor Development Program in January 2020 and worked as a Financial Analyst and Fraud Analyst for the Payment Protection Program until the middle of 2021. Prior to that, she interned at Tapestry, the parent company of a number of fashion companies.

In 2019, Sarah earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing from Clemson University. She earned a minor in communication and a Magna Cum Laude. She was a member of several honor societies and a Leadership Scholar at the Business School.

Sarah was named the 2015 Miss South Carolina Teen. She then competed in the 2016 Miss America’s Outstanding Teen pageant, where she placed in the top ten. In addition, she earned the preliminary award for Evening Wear and On-Stage Question at the Outstanding Teen competition.
Sarah Hamrick Was Adopted
During her time on The Bachelor, Sarah disclosed her adoption to Clayton. She disclosed her Vietnamese heritage and adoption by a Caucasian family. “As a child, I often felt guilty that I was adopted,” Sarah said. “My adoptive parents love me and have provided me with everything. It influenced my decision-making and shaped my desires regarding love, relationships, and family.”
Sarah established a non-profit organization whose mission is to assist other adoptive children. Charity expansion is one of her passions. However, she is not unfamiliar with charitable activities. From 2013 until 2020, Sarah also served as a volunteer and ambassador for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. According to LinkedIn, the organization “raises funds for children’s hospitals, medical research, and community awareness of children’s health issues.”
